Last two days for FREE Starbucks Holiday Drinks!!

We received an email from Starbucks… yes, we hit the button for them to tell us about specials and deals. Sadly, we missed this small bit of text till we where in a Starbucks last night and everyone around us where there with friends for their free holiday drink!

The text from Starbucks:

“Grab a friend and head to a participating Starbucks® store – because November 17-20 from 2-5 p.m., when you buy one holiday drink, you’ll get another one of equal or lesser value for free. Take your pick of your most-loved holiday beverages, including Peppermint Mocha, new Skinny Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte.”

Just goofing around Vimeo this weekend, I happened across a video: Espresso, Intelligentsia.

When I showed it to friends and family… you knew who was a person who enjoyed an espresso vs who could take or leave a cup of coffee. Those that were in the casual crowd made comments like, “isn’t that just an ad?”. The enthusiasts got it… a video presenting a person who truly enjoys the art of making a fine espresso. A presentation of the art behind pulling a shot of espresso… you can almost smell it’s aroma in the video. My compliments to the videographer!

I Love Coffee! A book you need if your like me

My name is Gary, and I’m a coffee lover. Actually, I really enjoy Espresso drinks the most.

Pretty much everyone I know is wise to my passion for great coffee. So, when they come over to visit, they expect something more than regular or french roast. For a while I played with ingreadients, timing, grind… all with mixed results. Sadly, only the fellow coffee fan knew the difference.

Then I found the book “I Love Coffee!”. I feared it would be a story book but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a book of 100 coffee drinks that I could easily make with items I already had. The not-so-serious coffee drinking guests were very pleased. Take a look if your looking for a new twist to your coffee drink… for you or for your guests.
